Alex Guerry, Tennessee Texas, inducted in 1984
- Recommended two new USTA junior age divisions for boys and girls (the 12s and 14s.)
- Responsible for reorganizing the USTA senior tennis competition (35s-85s.)
- Chattanooga Tennis Singles Champion ten times and Senior Doubles 20 times.
- Won the National Father-Son Doubles Championships in 1966 and 1971.
- Valedictorian of Baylor School and University of the South. Four time recipient of the Jo Conn Guild Medal for highest academic average.
- Served in WWII as Army Air Force pilot from 1941-1945, rising to rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
- President and chairman of the board of directors of Chattem Drug and Chemical Company until his death in 1990.
