  • Wimbledon Doubles Championship in 1957 with Budge Patty.
  • Member of nine Halls of Fames. The Mulloy Cup, for players 80 years of age and over, is named in his honor.

  • Responsible for reorganizing the USTA senior tennis competition (35s-85s.)
  • Chattanooga Tennis Singles Champion ten times and Senior Doubles 20 times.
  • Won the National Father-Son Doubles Championships in 1966 and 1971.
  • Valedictorian of Baylor School and University of the South. Four time recipient of the Jo Conn Guild Medal for highest academic average.
  • Served in WWII as Army Air Force pilot from 1941-1945, rising to rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
  • President and chairman of the board of directors of Chattem Drug and Chemical Company until his death in 1990.
